About David Gold

David M. Gold, bom October 14, 1946 in Providence, Rhode Island USA, began shooting in 1969 and continues to use Nikon 35MM film SLR's creating innovative images/art for both private collections, galley and public exhibits.
David is color blind - no photoshop engineering, although has a respect for all art forms.
Proceeds help support The Bryant University Victor Gold Scholarship Fund.
The Victor Gold Scholarship Fund at Bryant University helps to fund a deserving student's education. Victor Gold attended Bryant in 1936 - 1938, and was forced to leave school to earn a living. Josephine Kortick Gold, Victor's wife and David Gold, Victor's son, established the scholarship fund in 1984 to assist a deserving student to help afford and complete his/her education.

David Marshall Gold, a Pawtucket, Rhode Island business owner whose avocation/passion is photography, exhibits regularly with the Pawtucket Arts Council of Rhode Island. His work has been published in Photography Forum's "Best of Photography Book" and resides in several private collections throughout the US., Europe and Southeast Asia, and has exhibited regularly with "The Pawtucket Arts Collaborative and the City of Pawtucket, an arts friendly city. He is also a frequent contributor of photographic artwork for various charitable causes. Ironically, David is color-blind but this fact does not imperil his ability to capture the unusual and blend the grace of color, style and drama in his work. Best known for his interesting double exposure work (achieved with the camera, not in the darkroom), David's broad spectrum talent captures the essence of life; its color; its joy and its poignancy. Mr. Gold's photographs are included in many corporate and private collections.
