About the Photographer

David M. Gold, born October 14, 1946 in Providence, Rhode Island USA, began shooting in 1969 and continues to use a Hasselblad #305CX and Nikon F4, F5 and F6 camera bodies and high quality Nikon and Hasselblad lenses creating innovative images/art for both private collections, galley and public exhibits.
David is a film shooter, and does not own a digital camera. He looks to have fun creating innovative photo images/art with 35mm film format for both private gallery, website and public exhibit.
David is color blind - no photoshop engineering, although has a respect for all art forms.

Ben Weiss was a well known international artist/painter having residences in Paris and in Providence, Rhode Island.
Ben Weiss together with his brothers and my mother, Josephine Kortick Gold , together with her brothers
spent the latter part of the 1920's into the early part of the 1930's at the Jewish Orphange in Providence,
Rhode Island USA. Ben Weiss passed away on August 11, 2010. The bonds between siblings and Ben and
my mom and her brother Leonard Kortick
